Time Line

First opening preparation meeting for the whole project in general. Project planning, structuring the process, team role and responsibilities division, preparation for the 1st residential training.

“inFormal Basic” training course will be 8 working days, we set 3 strategic objectives: to explain what youth empowerment is and how it works, to provide a set of tools that can be practically used in youth empowerment at schools and universities; to explain the meaning and values of non-formal education as a key instrument in youth empowerment and to try out how it works. In simple words, the aim of the first activity is to give participants (educators) introduction to non-formal learning methodology, in the first phase, and then let them develop their own sessions and workshops based on knowledge they acquired.

Online course is a link between three residential trainings/seminars of Informal. This course is designed for a better understanding and exploring of non-formal education as a way for youth empowerment and for studding both individually and in groups.

During practice phase participants need to  deliver non-formal education session for young people in their communities. This training modules should be organized in cooperation with local schools/universities and youth NGOs. During this process they will be monitored and mentored by the trainers and experts online and offline (there will be several mentoring visit).

“inFormal Quality” training course  is a second residential activity which will mainly focus on application of non-formal methodology into formal system. The main aim is to assess outcomes from the practical stage as well as the personal and professional development, and special focus will be on work within the formal schooling. Participants will be asked to work with very formal topics/lessons plans and to transform them into non-formal methodology.

“inFormal Evolution” meeting is a final residential activity of the training course which will focus mostly on the evaluation and follow up. Evaluation of the project, personal and professional self-assessment , quality assessment as well as creating new methodology for youth empowerment. And developing of follow up activities and future plans.
